The Events Kit is available for use by community groups conducting activities, festivals or events within the boundaries of Golden Plains Shire. The trailer is chock full of useful items including signage, bunting, tools, safety gear, stationary and more. A full list of contents can be found at www.goldenplains.vic.gov.au/planning-event

 

Your Details

The cost of hiring the Community Events Kit is $25. This is payable upon collection of the trailer at reception.   A current Victorian driver’s licence will be required to be able to collect the trailer. Current Drivers licence must be presented by the driver at the time of collection.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The trailer will be returned in clean and tidy condition and we accept that a fee may be charged for excessive cleaning.

  • We agree to pay the replacement cost of any items damaged or lost.

  • We agree to pay the sum of $100 if the keys are lost.

  • We agree to notify Golden Plains Shire of any incidents or problems associated with using the trailer. The trailer will be secured to a vehicle at all times.

  • No children or animals will ride in the trailer at any time.

  • The trailer will be used only for its intended purpose and will not be used for the transportation of other items to the event.

  • We understand that the excess payable on vehicle insurance claims is $500.00 and agree to pay this amount in the event of a claim needing to be made.

  • We understand there are general risks involved in using this trailer including, but not limited to, towing the trailer, weather conditions, road conditions, hazards associated with a chosen location and potential manual handling risks. I/we agree to hold Council harmless against any acts or omissions that cause damage to persons, property or the environment by your actions. We will consider the safety and security of the trailer at all times.

Council may disclose your information to other internal departments in order to provide this service to you and will not be disclosed to any external party without your consent, unless required to do so by law. If you do not provide us with all required information Council may be unable to provide you the service requested. .
