About 

Council’s Crime Prevention Project is funded by a $299,000 grant from the Victorian Government’s Building Safer Communities program and aims to improve community safety and address the causes of crime. 

The Project will see the delivery of programs and workshops that aim to improve protective factors for young people, including building young people’s resilience, education, employment and training pathways. 
 

Engagement Update 

Council encouraged all residents to participate in the Community Safety and Social Perceptions Survey to help Council ascertain residents perception of crime, safety and social issues across Golden Plains from Friday 11 November to 9am, Friday 27 January, 2023.

What Happens Next

Feedback from the survey will help guide Council’s Crime Prevention project to ensure the project aligns with the communities needs.
