In partnership with Business Victoria, Council will host a series of business workshops in Smythesdale and Bannockburn in September, October and November this year.
The free workshops will be facilitated by Business Victoria and will cover a range of business topics including Starting your Small Business, Taking Your Business Online, Social Media and Content Marketing, and Maximising Your Marketing.
The workshops aim to support local businesses, and those looking to set up a business, to gain new skills and knowledge that will help their business to grow and succeed.
The first three workshops will be held at The Well (Digital Hub), 19 Heales Street, Smythesdale:
- Starting Your Small Business Workshop: Thursday 8 September from 5.30 to 8.30pm
- Taking Your Business Online Workshop: Tuesday 18 October from 5.30 to 7.30pm
- Advanced Strategies to Taking Your Business Online: Thursday 20 October from 5.30 to 8.30pm
The final two workshops will be held at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre, 25 High Street:
- Maximising Your Marketing: Tuesday 8 November from 5.30 to 7.30pm
- Social Media and Content Marketing Workshop: Thursday 17 November from 9.30am to 12.30pm
