Nimons Bridge Closure Update

Nimons Bridge Closure Update
Public Notice
Roads & Transport
Newtown

Planned surface preparation works have been undertaken this week on Nimons Bridge, however, due to weather, sealing works are yet to be completed.
While works are ongoing, temporary fencing remains in place and access to the bridge is limited to pedestrians and cyclists. Vehicles are not permitted to access the bridge.

The sealing works will be completed as soon as weather permits and the bridge will be reopened to all users.

The trail works are part of the Three Trails Project to improve and upgrade three significant multi-use trails: Ballarat–Skipton Rail Trail, Kuruc a Ruc Trail and Rainbow Bird Trail. Popular with local and visiting walkers, hikers, cyclists and horse-riders, the trails span a total of 101km and connect 15 different townships and communities across Golden Plains Shire, as well as City of Ballarat and Corangamite Shire.
