Golden Plains Shire Council welcomes an election funding announcement from the Liberal Party of $6.2 million towards the establishment of a headspace satellite service in Bannockburn.
Announced by Minister for Health and Aged Care Greg Hunt MP, Senator for Victoria, Sarah Henderson, Liberal candidate for Corio Manish Patel and Liberal Party Candidate for Corangamite Stephanie Asher on Monday 9 May, the commitment will be delivered if the Coalition wins the Federal Election on 21 May.
The $6.2 million commitment would be split over four years to deliver a headspace satellite service in Bannockburn and to upgrade the headspace satellite service in Corio to a headspace centre.
