Welcome Summer with Gentle Yoga

Yoga Sessions

Come along on the first day of summer for a yoga 'salute to the sun' in our beautiful library courtyard. This will be a gentle practice for all abilities and will include instruction for chair poses.

The session will be facilitated by the qualified instructor Mami from The Y who specialises in adapting programs to suit individual needs to help participants get the best out of their classes. Yoga is beneficial for increased flexibility, increased muscle control, improvement of energy and breathing techniques as well as cardio health. Please bring your own yoga mat if possible.

The event will be followed by a free morning tea and information from the YMCA on yoga and many other fun activities you may wish to join.
