Vaccination Certificate Support Program - Golden Plains Mobile Library

Council is supporting the Golden Plains Shire community to access their proof of COVID-19 vaccination, with accessible assistance provided by Council and Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) staff.

Vaccination Certificate Support sessions will provide opportunities for community member to access support to link their vaccination certificate to their smartphone or gaining a printed copy of their vaccination certificate. There will also be help to access the Medicare Express application, set up a MyGov account or link Medicare to a MyGov account.

Council has partnered with GRLC to provide one-on-one sessions at Golden Plains Mobile LIbrary on Thursday 25 November. Community members needing support to access their proof of vaccination are encouraged to drop-in for a one-on-one session at:

  • Russell Street (Community Centre), Meredith: 9 to 10.30am
  • Ferrars Street (Police Station), Rokewood: 11.45am to 1pm
  • Buninyong-Mt Mercer Road (Community Hall), Grenville: 2.15 to 3pm
  • Colac-Ballarat Road, Enfield: 3.30 to 4:30pm

Please note: In order to access the Services Victoria and Medicare Express App, community members will need to bring along their smartphone and any relevant log in details, including email address and MyGov. In order to set up a MyGov account or to link Medicare and MyGov, more personal information will be required, including a Medicare card, bank account details, the name of their doctor and information regarding their most recent doctor visit.
