Do you want to meet new people while getting fresh air and exercise in some great locations in Golden Plains and surrounding areas?

Trailblazers provides great opportunities to participate in group walks, just turn up to take part – we even have a bus to get you there!

Walk details

Date and time:           First Thursday of the month, 10.00am (except for 12 October 2017)

Distance:                     5–6km 

Terrain:                       Some hills and some uneven and unsealed paths

 

Morning tea/Lunch

· Tea, coffee and light morning tea will be provided after walks where possible.

· Twice a year there will be a light lunch provided for a gold coin donation.

Bus Bookings

· To travel on the bus to and from the walk location, contact Jacinta before the walk via phone or email on 53211500 / 0458 384 080 or jacinta.walsh@gplains.vic.gov.au

· Gold coin donation requested for bus travel.

Cancellation policy

If the temperature is forecast to be over 26C walks will automatically be cancelled. We will decide by midday the day before and try to contact Walking Group Coordinators and all persons who we know are coming. However, walkers are responsible for checking the weather forecast. Contact us if you are unsure.

 

Dogs

· Dogs are allowed and must be on a leash.

· Dogs are not allowed on the bus or in Golden Plains Shire vehicles excluding registered guide and assistance dogs.

· Owners are responsible for their dog at all times and for poop scooping in all locations.
