ABOUT THE EVENT

COTA and the Energy Info Hub present a free Power Saving Bonus Workshop at the Bannockburn Library on 18 January 2022 from 2pm to 4pm. The workshop will help local residents discover four simple steps to save on electricity and gas bills, and how to apply for the Victorian Government's $250 electricity bonus.

Participants will:

  • Find out four simple steps to save on electricity and gas bills
  • Get help to apply for the Victorian Government's $250 electricity payment

The independent Energy Info Hub and Council for the Ageing (COTA), in partnership with the Victorian Government, are supporting older people to control their energy bill and apply for the $250 Power Saving Bonus.

What should I bring?
To apply for the payment, you will need:

  • Your concession card
  • A recent electricity bill (not a reminder notice)

You can apply if you have:

  • Centrelink Pensioner Concession payment
  • JobSeeker payment
  • Department of Veterans Affairs Pensioner Concession
