ABOUT THE EVENT

After a tough couple years for the events industry, the Teesdale Turtle Bend Committee are so excited to announce that Live @ Turtle Bend is ready to go for 2021!

December 4th will see the community back at Turtle Bend for great music, food and the famous lantern parade. Starting at 6pm, the night kicks off with 2 indie pop bands direct from the hallowed halls of Oxygen College: Lady Valentine and Orange Butter Club. Then prepare yourself for a groove-laden ride as surfcoast faves Bones and Jones headline with their 60s and 70s inspired blues rock vibe, supported by Sikander, a live Melbourne-based multi-cultural outfit blending contemporary electronic beats with sitar, saxophone, percussion, guitar, synthesisers and vocals into a groove-laden, sonic spread. The magical lantern parade will once again wind its way through the township and through to the iconic Turtle Pavillion at 8.30pm.

Warming fires will make for a cosy night as you enjoy the food and drink on offer throughout the event.
