Five artist studios in the north of Golden Plains Shire will be open to the public on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 May, from 10am to 4pm daily.
The weekend-long event is a mini Arts Trail for those interested in what's happening in local studios, a rare chance to meet the artists and discuss their many and varied techniques.
The participating studios are as follows:
Vida Pearson - A printmaker whose passions are Australian birds and flora.

Fred Ross - A timber artisan whose love of timber is evident in his beautiful bespoke furniture.

Stella Clarke - A landscape artist working in oil and acrylic, her inspiration is both local and coastal.
29 Stephen Street, Haddon
Kate Wise - Inspired by her travels and local environment, Kate creates calm, colourful, abstract, botanical and landscape paintings.
32 Kent Drive, Haddon
Red Echidna Studios - Ceramic artist Barry Wemyss has a particular love for teapots and beautiful forms which are expressed in his tactile works.

Raintree Art - Offers unique Aboriginal paintings and an array of designed art product.
