ABOUT THE EVENT

The Golden Plains Farmers’ Market in Bannockburn takes place on the first Saturday of each month (except January) from 8.30am to 12.30pm and is a genuine growers and makers market.

The market features a fantastic range of locally grown, farm-fresh and homemade foods as well as unique art, handmade homewares and eco-friendly products.

Bannockburn is a laid-back small town just north of Geelong and the Golden Plains Farmers' Market provides a relaxed, country atmosphere for families and friends to shop and have a bite to eat.

With live music, family entertainment, espresso coffee and the aroma of fresh baking pastries adrift, the market in High Street Bannockburn offers a lively atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

Come and get to know your local farmers and artisans! To see which stallholders have registered to attend the market, click here.

Please note: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a number of measures will be in place for market-goers and stall holders to ensure the market is COVID-safe. Please follow all guidelines displayed a the market. All market-goers will need to scan in using a QR-code at one of the three entry points, wear a face mask and practice 1.5m physical distancing. Manual registration will also be available for market-goers unable to scan a QR-code, and hand sanitiser will be available at all entry and exit points, along with at stalls. Due to lockdowns in Melbourne and some regional areas, visitors from metropolitan Melbourne, Mitchell Shire, Latrobe City and Moorabool Shire are unable to attend, however, we hope to be able to welcome you back to the market some time soon.
