Council will be hosting an Australia Day event on Tuesday 26 January. The event is to formally acknowledge the Golden Plains Shire Council (GPSC) Community Awards 2020 nominees, announce the award-winners and welcome new citizens to the Golden Plains community.
The event will also include a special screening of Zoom Me A River, a short film produced by artists from across Golden Plains that reflects on the local experience of COVID-19 social isolation.
Due to COVID guidelines, attendance is limited and by invitation, however the event will be livestreamed on Council’s YouTube channel. You can watch the livestream here.
