'Step over the Sidelines' Parent Survey

Parents/Carers/Families involved in junior sport in the Shire are encouraged to participate in this survey to assist Council in developing initatives to increase physical activity .

About: 

Council’s Recreation and Health and Wellbeing teams were successful in receiving a $10,000 VicHealth Exploration grant from the Innovation Challenge grant program in 2018.

Latrobe University has been engaged to work with council to explore adult’s inactivity in participation and volunteering in structured  sport not being based on laziness or lack of interest but lack of skill, confidence and experience in sport.

Latrobe University is currently undertaking a survey to understand parents/carers/families experience with junior sport, motivators and barriers to participation and potential ideas to increase participation.

Survey participants have the opportunity to win one of four randomly drawn $50 Rebel Sport vouchers.
