Play Space Strategy 2018-2028

Share this:

Council is developing a new Play Space Strategy (2018-2028) and we want to hear from you! Please help us out by filling in our short online survey or coming along to one of our three community workshops.

The new Play Space Strategy will support Council to plan for change and ensure Council offers appropriate play spaces, wheels facilities and other open space as well as programming opportunities that cater for a diverse and wide spread community looking for opportunities to participate in a multitude of ways and get physically active. It will also identify new and innovative play space ideas including but not limited to, park or rumble cages, adult play equipment, parcore as well as innovative programming ideas to activate these spaces.

How you can be involved

How You Can Be Involved:

We encourage all residents to attend a community consultation session or provide feedback via our online survey. We want to hear  how you and your family currently access play spaces across Golden Plains and if you have any ideas or solutions to improve access and encourage use. Feedback will assist Council to better understand the community’s needs, determine priorities and guide future investment in public play spaces within Golden Plains Shire.
