An authentic farmers' market in Victoria is defined by the VFMA (Victorian Farmers' Market Association) as a predominantly fresh food and produce market that operates regularly at a public location, which in turn provides a suitable environment for farmers and food producers to sell their farm origin product and/or associated value added primary products directly to customers.  The Golden Plains Farmers' Market is proud to have achieved this accreditation which provides public confidence that this farmers' market comprises authentic food producers. Customers can be confident they will always find local, high quality food and wine produce sourced from the region.
