Golden Plains Shire has a comprehensive range of community and recreation facilities across the municipality. Local communities and sport and recreation clubs play a key role in working with Council to plan, develop and manage these facilities.

Funding is available annually through Council's Community Grants Program. Groups should also look at the Our Community website (www.ourcommunity.com.au ) for funding opportunities.
2. How can we access our local community recreation facilities?
Local community Committees of Management manage the majority of recreation facilities in the Shire. Council's Community Recreation Officers can help you contact these Committees.
