Golden Plains Farmers Market - Temporary Liquor Licence

Temporary Liquor Licence

Temporary Limited Licences for Wine Producers

Regional Victoria produces some of our finest wines and produce with over 800 wineries, 621 of which have cellar doors in 21 distinct wine regions. A number of Victoria's wine producers showcase their wines at various markets around the state every weekend. To help promote the high quality boutique wines, the Director of Liquor Licensing has issued special guidelines for wineries.

Licensees who hold either a Vigneron's Licence or a Renewable Limited Licence can apply for a Temporary Limited Licence, which authorises them to attend and sell their wine at up to 12 events at markets in one year under the one licence.

Should you wish to attend more than 12 markets in any one year, then an additional Temporary Limited Licence will be required. When applying, licensees will be required to list the markets that they wish to attend.

This authorisation does not extend to events that are considered under the Major Event Licence, such as the Food and Wine Festival.

For further information, please contact Liquor Licensing on 1300 650 367.
