How to Plan Your Event
Thank you for considering holding an Event in Golden Plains.
If you are planning on staging an Event, there are important responsibilities you are required to fulfill.
The information listed below should be used by Event Organisers as a guide to develop your Event plan, understand what permits you will require and how to get the best outcome for your event
Step 1: Submit your Event Enquiry Form to the Events and Information Officer.
Step 2: Gain conditional approval for your event, subject to the required permits being approved.
Step 3: Apply for Permits and Develop your Event Plans
Step 4: Gain unconditional approval and stage your Event!
Step 5: Post event evaluation. Depending on the size of your Event you may need to meet with the Events and Information Officer to discuss what went well and what can be improved for next time.

Do you have Insurance?
It is your responsibility as the Event organiser to ensure you have the appropriate insurance to run your event. Insurance Options(23 kb)
If your Event will benefit the community you may be eligible to apply for a grant from the Golden Plains Shire. Grant Guidelines(305 kb).
