Cr Vaughan is a member of the following Council advisory committees:

 

• Chair of the Economic Development, Communications and Marketing Committee
• Governance Committee
• Chair of the Human Services Committee

 

Cr Vaughan has been appointed by Council as its representative to the Geelong Gambling Advisory Group.

 

Cr Vaughan first represented Golden Plains Shire as a Councillor between 1996 and 1998.  He has served a total of 6 years as a councillor with the Golden Plains Shire Council and the former Corio Shire Council (including Shire President).

 

His priority will be the financial commitments of council.
